Op zaterdag 2 april zingt Kinderkoor Viva la Musica in de kindermuziekweek. Vorig voorjaar is er een kinderkoorschool gestart in Zwolle en er is nu een beginnerskoor voor kinderen in de leeftijd van groep 3, 4 en 5. Het kinderkoor is voor kinderen uit de groepen 6, 7 en 8. In de kindermuziekweek willen we graag laten horen wat we doen en hoe leuk zingen is. (meer info over de kinder muziek week)
Er is er een openbare demonstratieles van de beide koren in de Theodorakapel, Theodorahof 20, in Zwolle van 11:00 uur tot 12:00 uur. Alle ouders en kinderen zijn welkom om zaterdag te komen luisteren en ook mee te doen met de spelletjes. Eerst zijn de jongste kinderen uit het beginnerskoor te horen, zij zingen Nederlandse kinderliedjes met spelletjes.
Dan kunnen aan het eind van hun programma alle kinderen meedoen. Daarna zingt het kinderkoor een aantal grappige volksliedjes, een mooi lied van Rameau uit de film “Les Choristes” en wat spelletjes, hier kunnen de oudere kinderen dan weer aan meedoen. Na afloop is er een kleine verassing voor alle kinderen.
De koorschool biedt een algemene muzikale vorming aan door middel van het samen musiceren. Door zelf te zingen en te bewegen raken ze bekend met de basis van alle muziek. In de wekelijkse lessen ontwikkelen de leerlingen hun stemgebruik, ritme- en maatgevoel en muzikaal gehoor. Dit alles doen ze aan de hand van kringspelletjes en liedjes die passen bij hun leeftijd. Door dit zingend en spelend de muziek verkennen, wordt het een tweede natuur van de kinderen en blijft het plezier voorop staan. Daarbij krijgen ze (voor hen) ongemerkt een solide basis waar ze later veel profijt van hebben.
Naast de koorrepetitie, krijgen alle kinderen van het beginnerskoor en het kinderkoor iedere week 6 minuten individueel muziekles waarbij ze werken aan stemvorming en noten lezen. De repertoirekeus is breed maar de nadruk ligt op Nederlandse kinderliedjes, goed gecomponeerde volksmuziek en klassieke koormuziek. Een belangrijk uitgangspunt bij de repertoirekeuze is dat de muziek aansluit bij de belevingswereld van de kinderen. Docente Ceciel van der Zee zegt: “Het belangrijkst in de koren is dat kinderen zelfvertrouwen ontwikkelen om hun stem te laten horen, dat ze leren samenwerken en dat ze heel veel plezier hebben in het maken van muziek.”
